There is nothing like handmade. It's the joy of knowing someone made something just for you with all the love that goes with it. That's why I am so thrilled to feature Retro Family Works. Influenced by a collection of vintage patterns and a love of beautiful cotton fabrics, Linda the designer behind Retro Family Works began making clothes at a very young age. She found her passion in constructing children's clothes when her three older children were born in the 80's and her love of creating was reignited when her youngest child was born five years ago. A vintage dress for her little girl sparked the beginning of her Etsy Shop.
We were lucky enough to receive her adorable "Chicken Dress" to review and I was blown away by the cuteness factor of this garment. I mean, how often does one get to wear a dress covered in roosters? This whimsical little A-line is perfection and it's construction is to die for. Linda takes the utmost care when putting together her clothing. It's hard not to be impressed with the design and finishing.
Retro Family Works is all about working on new challenges and the tendency to make one of a kind garments rather than producing the same ones over and over again. Linda likes to work with customers to produce custom garments that are exactly what they’re looking for.
And that's what this giveaway is all about. One very fortunate person will get to work with Linda to create their perfect outfit based on her designs. Thanks so much to Linda for allowing this opportunity!
