Help Mend a Heart

The holidays are about giving and this holiday season lends us an opportunity to Help Mend a Heart. On Thanksgiving, A South Florida mom named Maureen Waters fell ill with a virus that has attacked her heart. Currently ininsured, she lays in critical but stable condition in the CVICU at Broward General Hospital desperately needing to be transferred to Miami for a possible heart transplant. Her family has turned to Twitter and Facebook in hopes that people will be able to donate whatever they can in order to help them save their mother.
