What a sweet post. And as you said, she lives forever in your hearts, and your daughter will get to know your mother even without her being present.

I think your daughter looks a lot like your mother. Her mouth...they have the same expression.
((hugs)) It's a beautiful poem.

Oh - I am so sorry. I honestly know how you feel. I too lost my mom this week - on the 31st - Halloween 2001. I miss her so much and miss her knowing my children and being with me to be a mom. It's so hard. It was hard before children and even harder now. I'll send a prayer your way for a peaceful day. Know that my heart goes out to you!

((hugs)) That is a beautiful poem. I know the feeling. We lost my grandma almost 2 years ago (in May it will be 2 yrs) and while my son got to meet her/know her/love her, I wish everyday she wasn't taken so quickly from his life and that he got have her like I did.

Oh that is precious. As a daughter who lost a parent before her last child was born, the memories of the two are so bittersweet but you have honored your mom in a beautiful manner.
