Penelope Mack Swimsuit Review *GIVEAWAY*

With Summer here, my family will spend a lot of time at the waterpark, beach, and pool. In Florida, water play is practically the only way to stay cool and comfy in the humid, tropical weather. So each year in May we purchase our annual park passes and I begin my search for the perfect swimsuit for my daughter to get through the season in. This year my search ended early as she was lucky enough to review two gorgeous swimsuits from Penelope Mack, one of our favorite designers!
Both of the one-piece swimsuits my daughter received are completely adorable with floral motif and vibrant, colorful prints. I was more than pleased with the moderate coverage the suits provided and that they are trendy, but not overly frou-frou and so comfortable on her. Her new Penelope Mack suits also had just the right amount of stretch so as to stay put and not ride up into any unsightly crevices or create that saggy butt look, which is so important. Best of all, Penelope Mack treats all their swimsuits with SPF 50 so I can be sure my daughter is protected even where sunscreen can't reach.
We were so excited to get straight to the park the weekend her new suits came! The bathing suit she wore looked so adorable and bright going down the slides. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't quite as sunny as her sweet yellow accented suit, it started pouring soon after we arrived. It is Florida is the summertime after all, so we were only able to get photos of the one suit. But take my word for it, they are both too cute for words. The only suggestion I have when purchasing Penelope Mack is to size up since the suits seem to run just a bit small, this way kiddo will enjoy their bathing suit all summer long. During the months of May and June we go strawberry picking every week. I then slice up all the strawberries and every night we all get a bowl of vanilla icecream piled w/ fresh strawberries and cool whip! When we run out of strawberries we head to the patch for more! It's my fave family tradition.

when it is really hot we put on the garde hose and turn it on, we all splash around with the water that comes down like rain...it is really fun and my daughter loves it...

On really hot nights, we have a big sleepover in our bedroom, the only room with a/c. The girls get a blow up mattress on the floor.
Other times, I spray them outside with the hose or they like to play in the sprinkler.

My hubby and I are teachers, so the summer is really special for our family. We get to spend lots of time with our little girl. She loves to swim and will be starting swim lessons soon. I know that one of these bathing suits would look precious on her!

We are blessed to live by the sea. In the summer months we go out to our backyard and swim in the ocean. My daughter and I will collect hermit crabs and line them up. She likes to pretend they are racing.
